In Ukraine the situation today, when the sign of UIC/EUR illegally marked trays that are inconsistent with any safety requirements. Therefore, strongly recommend that before buying pallets tagged with marks of UIC/EUR, require the salesperson license indicating that the trays are manufactured in accordance to the requirement and nefal′sificirovannye. Only in this way can protect their staff who every day risk by working with false plates, often made of more thin boards saving wood and nails and may not withstand the gruzâŝegosâ weight. Using fake plates, there is a threat to the prestige of the firm: in this way supported by shady business and tax evasion. For the carriage of goods across the border for illegal pallets, Customs will have to unload pallets confiscated, and the loss of a single order will cost considerably more than the savings by buying fake pallets.

With August 1, 2013 year European Pallet Association (EPAL) and the Association of railways (UIC) reached an agreement in principle on the mutual recognition of pallets because pallets will be made according to the same standards as before.
